Welcome to Time Zones Map.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of time-zones-map.com, including its maps, time zone information, converters, tools, articles, downloads, and other features (collectively, the "Site").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Site.
About Time Zones Map
Time Zones Map provides free online tools and information to help people understand time zones, compare local times, convert times between locations, and find related geographic and time information.
The Site is provided primarily as a general reference and informational resource.
Using the Site
You may use the Site for lawful personal, educational, and business purposes.
You agree not to:

Accuracy of time zone information
We work to make the information and tools on Time Zones Map useful and accurate.
However, time zone boundaries, daylight saving time rules, laws, government decisions, location information, and source data can change.
We therefore cannot guarantee that every time, time-zone conversion, boundary, map, business-hours result, or other piece of information will always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.
For anything where timing has important consequences — such as flights, legal deadlines, financial transactions, medical appointments, international meetings, or travel — verify the applicable local time with an authoritative source.
You use information provided by the Site at your own discretion.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, the original design, branding, written content, illustrations, maps, interactive interfaces, software, and other original materials on the Site are owned by or licensed to Time Zones Map and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You are welcome to link to pages on Time Zones Map and reference the Site in ordinary personal, educational, editorial, or professional use.
These Terms do not claim ownership over public facts, including facts about time zones, geographic locations, UTC offsets, daylight saving rules, or other material that is not eligible for exclusive intellectual-property protection.
You may not reproduce, republish, sell, license, systematically extract, or use substantial portions of our original Site content or software to create a competing product, dataset, publication, or service without permission, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
Automated access and AI use
Automated systems may not access or extract Site content in a way that materially burdens the Site, circumvents technical restrictions, or reproduces substantial portions of our original content without permission.
Unless we expressly authorize otherwise, permission to access the Site does not grant permission to use substantial portions of our original content to create or train a competing commercial database, product, model, or service.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TIME ZONES MAP, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, VENDORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO:
- YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SITE;
- YOUR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SITE;
- INFORMATION, CALCULATIONS, MAPS, OR RESULTS PROVIDED BY THE SITE;
- THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, ADVERTISEMENTS, PRODUCTS, OR SERVICES; OR
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF INFORMATION TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE SITE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO US FOR USE OF THE SITE DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR $100.
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based and even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Binding arbitration and dispute resolution
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS HOW CERTAIN DISPUTES MAY BE RESOLVED.
Except for disputes that qualify for small claims court and claims seeking appropriate court relief for infringement or misuse of intellectual-property rights, you and Time Zones Map agree that disputes arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than through a court trial, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Before beginning arbitration, the person bringing the dispute must provide written notice describing the claim, the facts giving rise to it, their contact information, and the relief requested. Both sides agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days after receiving that notice.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, arbitration will be administered by JAMS under the applicable JAMS rules in effect at the time the arbitration begins, unless you and we agree on another arbitration provider.
The arbitration may be conducted remotely, through written submissions, or at a mutually agreed location as allowed under the applicable rules.
The Federal Arbitration Act will govern the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration agreement where applicable.
No jury trial
Where a dispute is subject to arbitration, you and Time Zones Map waive the right to have that dispute decided by a judge or jury in court.
An arbitrator can award relief that would otherwise be available to an individual under applicable law, subject to these Terms and the applicable arbitration rules.
Individual proceedings
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, claims subject to arbitration must be brought on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
Neither party may seek relief in arbitration on behalf of other users or members of the public except where such a restriction would be unenforceable under applicable law.
Arbitration costs
Arbitration fees and costs will be allocated according to the applicable arbitration rules and law. If applicable law requires us to pay fees that would otherwise prevent you from accessing arbitration, we will pay those required fees.Severability
If any portion of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, that portion will be severed to the extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will continue in effect, unless the unenforceable provision makes arbitration of the particular dispute impossible under applicable law.Survival
This arbitration agreement survives termination of your use of the Site.Changes to the Site
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, content, or services on the Site. We do not guarantee that any particular feature or resource will always remain available.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Site, our business practices, service providers, or legal requirements. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.Governing law
To the extent not preempted by federal law and subject to the arbitration provisions above, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the state in which Time Zones Map is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
